Aim: to transform the original building to provide a new reception link area between the technology centre and school along with offices and a community classroom. The concept behind the centre is to integrate the secondary school children with the wider local community in a learning environment, breaking down stereotypes and forging learning connections. The reception desk and light-well forming a graphic visual link to their new school logo.
As part of this project a new gym was built in the main school and existing staff offices were also refurbished.
